The hotel location was very good for the area of London I wanted to be in, Kensington and Chelsea. About 10 minutes walk to the Royal Albert Hall, as I was going to the Proms. The building is very impressive, original features, high ceilings. Which is the style of architecture of the area. The hotel is having work done to it outside when I visited. It did not spoil my trip, it is to be expected that hotels need on going maintenance. Some of the paintwork inside could do with repainting. The hotel is very clean, I had an executive double room which had a settee and desk area as well. The hotel staff are all lovely and helpful, good choice of breakfast options. A nice bar/ lounge area to relax in, which had a TV in as well., which was air conditioned.

The history and connection with Queen Elizabeth and the Queen Mother. The clean well decorated and stylish interior and exterior. Warmth of the building the quality of the curtains and the plush cushions in the room. Marvellous breakfast with plentiful continental choice and a full English upgrade for a small fee. Loved the small pots of jam especially blackcurrant and cherry plus nice touch small pots of condiments. Pleasant and polite and deferential behaviours from all staff, reception, breakfast, door persons.

I stayed in one-person room and it was tiny, but very much sufficient for me. The room had everything a person staying for one night needs: it was clean, it had a kettle and lots of teas and coffees, as well as a whole bottle of water. The bathroom was super clean (and also very small - but that didn't bother me). The staff are really nice and welcoming. It is a walking distance from Royal Albert Hall.

It is a lovely hotel located in Kensington, close to natural history museum and other attractions. We had a quadruple room which was good for the 4 of us , consisting of 1 x double and 2 x single beds . Very clean and tidy staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was continental only and thete was a good choice but hot food was extra.

Matthew

I arrived early and the room i was offered was small and smelt badly. I asked if i could move to another room and this was easily dealt with by the staff. Gigi (head of Housekeeping) showed me a much nicer room with no smell and it made my stay very comfortable. GIgi was friendly and brought me water without asking for it.
